A good robe is the most-worn item in the sleep drawer — coffee, skincare, Sunday mornings, hotel-at-home. This collection covers the two robes worth owning: lightweight woven and satin robes that pack flat and layer over anything in summer, and plush fleece robes that replace turning up the thermostat in winter.

Nearly all styles are wrap-front with a self-tie belt and pockets (non-negotiable, in our opinion). The satin robes in particular make a reliable bridesmaid or new-mom gift — one size fits generously, so there's no size-guessing risk. Pair a robe with a nightgown or any two-piece set, or go straight to a three-piece set where the robe is already matched to the pajamas underneath.
